Don\u2019t speak German? Never fear, WordCamp Cologne would love to have you!<\/p>\n

This page is to inform all non-German speaking attendees of the WordCamp Cologne 2017.<\/p>\n

WordCamp Cologne will be held on Saturday, November, 18th and Sunday, November 19th 2017 at\u00a0HMKW University<\/a> . We plan this WordCamp as a BarCamp. We expect around 250 visitors, and we’re looking forward to meeting YOU!<\/p>\n

The Contributor Day will be held on Friday, November, 17th 2017 at Microsoft<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Language<\/h3>\n

Getting along around Cologne without speaking German should not be a problem. Most Germans understand and often speak English well enough to keep a conversation going. Cologne, in particular, is a very cosmopolitan city.<\/p>\n

Sessions<\/h3>\n

Our WordCamp will be a BarCamp format, so the sessions will be provided by the attendees and chosen on site on the day of the event. As a consequence, we cannot tell now if there will be presentations in English. We would like to encourage every attendee, also English speakers, to submit their topic of interest.
